At Under the Wing Productions, we produce current, creative, narrative–driven video content and documentaries that offer real value to their audience. Unique in the way we nurture up-and-coming filmmakers to ensure they can make their mark; offering on the job mentoring and shadowing opportunities with experienced filmmakers. We believe that supporting talented creatives in this way strengthens the industry, capturing the freshest ideas at the same time as providing jobs and has a social purpose. What’s not to like?
We pride ourselves on our ability to turn projects around at speed whilst also maintaining high production values. This ensures online audiences are blown away and most importantly brings new customers to our clients. Since March 2020 we have worked with BID (Business Improvement District), Parlez, Burnt Soul, St Peters Hospice, Wapping Wharf, Shambarber, Designs In Air, Hyde & Co, Josh Eggleton, Full Time Meals, Oxford Brookes University, Alfresco Disco, The Ox, and a number of Bristol-based restaurants.
We offer more than just engaging video content, including creation strategy, rebranding, live streaming, photography, case studies, and social adverts as part of our digital-first proposition.
But How Did We Get Here?
Creative Director Lorne Kramer founded Under the Wing in 2020. Lorne worked for a wildlife documentary company for over 10 years, learning his craft on international locations all over the world. He fine-tuned both his technical and editorial skills on shows such as River Monsters, Animal Airport and BBC’s The ONE Show. Lockdown provided space for Lorne to launch his own digital-first production company where he can concentrate on projects closer to home.
